Photography is such an amazing medium of art. As I try new things, and gain experience, I notice that it's all about intuition and that devine moment when everything around you slows down as your finger nears the shutter button. In that one half second you create an image that will last forever. Your art both begins and ends before your eyes. All you can do is hope you were aware enough to have captured what your photographic eye sees, or wants to see. I can go shoot for an entire weekend. But if I'm not lucky enough to recieve one majestic moment of beauty captured with this contraption of glass and electric parts then it's all to waste.

And that's what seperates camera owners from photographers.

I'm OK with faking this.
I'll fake everything just to slip you a kiss.
If I'm a writer, and I'm a poet,
I might love you...
But never show it.

Well afterall it IS your profession! When you cover portraits, aircraft, and nature your gallery is viewed by 3 or 4 major types of artists. Wheres as most only do one or the other.

That's actually an older photograph than "Viper Vapor". I photographed Viper Vapor II in 2006 but hesitated to add it to my gallery until after I had uploaded Viper Vapor which was photographed at this year's Tico Airshow.

Some people are like Slinkys. They're not much good for anything, but they put a smile on your face when you push them down the stairs.
